This collection of approximately 40 prints offers a witty look at the interaction between people and art, as well as a glimpse into the serious and sometimes comical world of art connoisseurship.
Janet and Joe Westheimer have been collecting American prints for more than 30 years. Their collection has grown in tandem with the McNay’s and includes great American images by some of the luminaries of early 20th-century American art, including George Bellows, John Sloan, Mabel Dwight and Isabel Bishop.
