Cactus Playa Lake

The land belongs to the town of Cactus and is a bird refuge. Bald and golden eagles, falcons, cranes, waterfowl and shore birds can be seen at times. The site is part of Texas Parks and Wildlife's Panhandle Plains Wildlife Trail.

On F.M. 281, approximately two miles southeast of Cactus (about 13 miles north of Dumas).
