Caddo Culture Day

Learn about the lifestyle and stories of the Caddo people through activities presented by the Caddo Nation of Oklahoma, including a live performance of Caddo cultural music. Take part in creating clay bowls, making corn husk dolls and natural dyes, flint knapping, atlatl throwing, guided tours, American Indian exhibits, Native American jewelry, beadwork and other fun activities for the children. Explore the history of this ancient site from the Burial Mound to what was once the residence of a Hasinai Caddo Tribe. Cameras are permitted and lawn chairs are encouraged for event enjoyment. Hours are 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
