Chosil Kil, born in Korea and educated at the Royal College of Art, London, plays with ideas of permanence and transience, capturing the fleeting and embodying experience. For her installation art pieces, Kil deals with a variety of mundane objects and assembles them in creative ways to delineate stories. In spite of her desire to make art that has its historical or political motivation, Kil aims to maintain its connection with personal or poetic significance.
The exhibit includes wall-mounted canvas works, free-standing sculpture and installations, and smaller sculptural works.
