Goliad Massacre Re-enactment and Living History Program

This 30th annual event brings the last days of Col. Fannin's command to life through exciting battle re-enactments, re-created camps and candlelit tours.

Take a stroll through the camps of both the Mexican and Texian armies, and visit with re-enactors as they go about their daily activities. Grab a front row seat for one of the battle re-enactments in front of Presidio La Bahia and stay late for a candlelight tour Saturday evening to learn about the turbulent times surrounding Fannin and his men. Sunday's activities include a re-creation of the final days of Fannin's men, as well as a memorial at the Fannin Monument.
