Proclaimed as "the Centerpiece of one of the biggest shows on the Texas Hill Country Regional Christmas Lighting Trail" by Southern Living magazine, this 25th-annual holiday event features a courthouse that "shines brighter than the star of Bethlehem." The entire town is bathed in lights with 100,000 lights twinkling on the Blanco County Courthouse, a lighted forest of more than 1 million lights at the Pedernales Electric Co-op Headquarters on Avenue F, Christmas in the Park and light displays throughout the community. Also enjoy hayrides and carriage rides throughout the season, and Christmas ornaments and holiday crafts for sale on weekends. At he official courthouse lighting on Nov. 28, also enjoy fireworks at 6:30 p.m., live music and the Chuck Wagon Food Court.
