Port Aransas Nature Preserve

This is a 1,200-acre site with upland trails, boardwalks, viewing towers, pavilion and picnic areas. The extensive tidal flats provide feeding areas and habitat for shorebirds and endangered and threatened species such as the piping plover.

Two entrances: at the end of Port Avenue and on Texas 361.
