It features miles of trails, including a wheelchair accessible one. Nature tours, birding and butterfly walks are available.
Interpretive wildlife tram rides operate late November-April (charge). Birding tours are available 8:30 a.m. daily, Jan.-March. Visitor center and bookstore open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. daily; closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
Entrance is east of the U.S. 281/F.M. 907 intersection, 7.5 miles south of Alamo.
