South Texas Museum

Housed in the historic McGill Brothers building, this museum's focus is on the history and traditions of South Texas. Displays of Native American artifacts, pioneer-era ranch and household items and 20th-century farm, ranch, railroad and oil equipment show the development of area culture. Exhibits include mounted wildlife and livestock specimens.
