Waco Suspension Bridge

This structure is the oldest suspension bridge in Texas, and it is still in use as a pedestrian bridge on the Brazos River. This landmark was the only span across the Brazos River on the Chisholm Trail. Large bronze sculptures depicting a longhorn cattle drive can be seen near the bridge.

Over the Brazos River at University Parks Drive between Washington Avenue and Franklin Avenue.
