In City of Hubbard, we are defined less by boundaries on a map than by the sense of shared values our residents hold dear. We are a bedroom community, centrally located on Highway 31 and Highway 171 within 45 minutes of Waco, and 30 mintues from Hillsboro, Mexia and Corisicana.  City of Hubbard has direct easy travel to Interstate Hwy 35 and 45. 

Hubbard citizens and the surround smaller communities support the only public pool in Hill County. In the 1900's Hubbard hosted mineral baths used for remedial remedies.
With 5 municipal lakes and many Victorian era homes, Hubbard is a place of beauty and relaxation.

The City of Hubbard's roots lie in the ranching community.  Adjacent to the "Cow Head Trail", Hubbard is now working on helping with the process of designating the Chisholm and Western Trails.  City of Hubbard is on the Texas Lakes Trail. In the early 1900's Hubbard became predominately a farming community.
