It is close to the 1940 Air Terminal Museum and other Houston attractions. Antique shopping can be found along Main Street (Texas 35) and Broadway Street (FM 518). Three 18-hole courses include: Southwyck Golf Club, a links-style course; Pearland Golf Club at Country Place, a relaxed course; and Golfcrest Country Club, a championship golf course. Annual events include Winterfest in January, Paws in the Park in March, Concerts in the Park in May-June, Wine & Food Festival in August, International Festival in September, Pearland Arts & Crafts on the Pavilion in October and Hometown Christmas Festival in December.
