The jetty sheltering Rockport Yacht Basin is a popular spot for bay fishing. Group-boat bay fishing is offered. Many hotels and motels on the bayfront maintain private fishing piers for guests. Professional fishing guides also are available for charters. There are a number of parks including Memorial Park and the Community Aquatic & Skate Park.
