This annual event, hosted by the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum, celebrates the life of Audie Murphy, the most decorated combat soldier of World War II, as well as military veterans and those currently serving. Featured speakers include Marjorie Lewis, author of "When the Men Were Gone," which takes place during WWII, and actor Michael Dante, who was in "Apache Rifles" and "Arizona Raiders" with Murphy. Saturday morning's events are held at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center, and the afternoon and evening events take place at the museum. All activities at the civic center are free but a regular admission charge of $6 (adults), $4 (seniors) and $2 (students) applies to enter the museum.
