To honor and remember our nation’s military heroes, Audie Murphy Day is hosted by the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum to celebrate Audie Leon Murphy, the most decorated combat soldier of World War II, as well as military veterans and those currently serving the country. Featured speakers include Seth Paridon, host of the popular podcast The Unauthorized History of the Pacific War, and Terrance Furgerson, author of “The Dallas Story: The North American Aviation Plant and the Industrial Mobilization during WWII.” In addition, the movie “Ride Clear of Diablo” starring Murphy is shown twice at the Texan Theater on Friday.
