A global celebration in the name of wine, Beaujolais Nights is an almost 70-year-old tradition in which partakers crack open the first bottles from this year’s Beaujolais Nouveau red wine harvest at the same time as the rest of the world. Beaujolais Nouveau is a young, fruity, and fresh red wine that is made and released every year on the third Thursday of November–only 6-8 weeks after the grapes are harvested. Sample the 2021 George Dubeouf Beaujolais Nouveau wine, and enjoy music from The Copa Kings, a dance floor, a French movie, face paintings, a balloon artist, mime artist, stilt walker, juggler, magician, caricature artist, plein-air painters from Round Rock, a snow globe, and local arts groups. This night of fun is "gratuit," that’s French for free.
