The annual Black-Eyed Pea Jamboree celebrates Athens’ proud title as the Black-Eyed Pea Capital of the World. This year, the Uncle Fletch Hamburger Cookoff coincides with the event, and there’s also live entertainment, a 5K race, vendors, turtle races, a black-eyed pea cookoff, a mooing competition, pop-up museum, video showcase, and a Kenny Chesney tribute band.
