This tour highlights the gingerbread architecture style that proliferated in Waxahachie during the late 1800s to the 1920s. Historically recognized buildings include the newly restored Ellis County Courthouse, the Ellis County Museum, Sims Library, and the Ellis County Art Museum, plus a selection of historic private homes. Tickets are available at the Ellis County Museum.
