The Texas Shakespeare Festival is East Texas' only professional theater company. The festival is a summer repertory company producing two Shakespeare plays, a non-Shakespearean classic, a musical, and a production for children. The main stage productions are produced in rotating repertory Thursday through Sunday, with an afternoon matinee and an evening performance each day. This summer's list of shows are: "The Comedy of Errors," "Pride and Prejudice," "Lear," and "Something Rotten." Additionally, the children's play "Todrick the Not-So-Terrible" has its world premiere.
