After almost 50 years, the Lost Gonzo Band has reunited and return to the stage for special performances this fall. Composed of musicians Gary P. Nunn, Bob Livingston, John Inmon, and Freddie Steady KRC, the band kicks off performances at historic Gruene Hall. Pioneering the progressive country music movement of the early '70s, the Lost Gonzo Band set Austin on its course to become the “Live Music Capitol of the World.” Playing and recording with some of the most iconic and colorful musicians in Texas music such as Jerry Jeff Walker, Michael Martin Murphey, Steven Fromholz, Rusty Weir and Ray Wylie Hubbard, the Gonzo’s were sometimes known as “The Austin Interchangeable Band.”
