Experience the longest-standing Texas art colony in Rockport-Fulton. Plein air painters capture the windswept trees, lighthouse, harbors with shrimp and oyster boats, bait stands, and historic buildings that have inspired artists since 1948. Bring your brushes and camera to join in the celebration of 74 years of creativity. Attend a free symposium with art historians, colony founders, and artists in conjunction with the release of a book chronicling the history of the colony. Keynote speakers are William and Linda Reaves, renowned Texas art historians and authors.
