For one week in June, Jacksonville becomes "Tomatoville." The 39th annual Tomato Festival in downtown Jacksonville offers events leading up to the big festival, with five blocks of vendors; a farmers market; fried green tomatoes; eating, peeling, packing, and salsa contests; live entertainment; a talent show; soccer and tennis tournaments; and an annual street dance.
