Watermelon Festival and Rodeo

One of the biggest events in the area, the 85th annual Watermelon Festival and Rodeo draws people from far and wide. Along with plenty of East Texas melons that are as sweet as they come, the festival holds one of the biggest parades in northeastern Texas and includes a street dance, arts and craft booths, a fully sanctioned PRCA rodeo, an antique car show, corn hole, horse shoes, food, wineritas, and bingo.
