One of the city’s signature annual traditions, the Stock Show and Rodeo combines professional rodeo competition, livestock exhibitions, live music, carnival attractions, and Texas-style food. The multi-week celebration draws families, ranchers, and visitors to experience Western heritage while supporting scholarships and agricultural education for Texas youth. A highlight is the colorful Charreada, a traditional Mexican rodeo featuring skilled charros, elegant escaramuza riders, horsemanship, roping demonstrations, and vibrant cultural pageantry.
