The following is the privacy policy for this site (all pages starting with www.TravelTex.com):

  1. Cookies are used to allow the site to welcome you back to the site should you visit the site again and to set your chosen site parameters as they were on your last visit. Cookies are also used to track the number of visitors to the site. We do not use cookies to collect any information other than just described. Note: A cookie file contains unique information a web site can use to track such things as passwords, lists of pages you’ve visited, and the date when you last looked at a specific page or to identify your session at a particular web site. We do not use cookies for any of these purposes.
  2. If you send us an electronic mail message with a question or comment that contains personally identifying information, or fill out a form that e-mails us this information, or make a comment while on the website, we will only use the personally-identifiable information to respond to your request and analyze trends. We may redirect your message to another government agency or person who is in a better position to answer your question. We will collect the browser, type, version, platform and user agent information.
  3. If you enter contact information in the course of ordering items from the site, this information will only be sent to those parties requiring it for delivery, unless you choose to receive additional Texas travel information. If you choose to receive additional information, your address may occasionally be made available to other Texas travel industry organizations.
  4. If you have supplied your e-mail address and chosen to receive additional Texas travel information, you may occasionally receive a message regarding something you have expressed an interest in, such as an attraction or event. E-mail addresses are not shared with 3rd parties. You may unsubscribe at any time by following the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email sent to you.
  5. For site management functions, information is collected for analysis and statistical purposes. This information is not reported or used in any manner that would reveal personally identifiable information, and will not be released to any outside parties unless legally required to do so in connection with law enforcement investigations or other legal proceedings.
  6. If you create a user account, information is collected for your personal profile, analysis and statistical purposes. Your profile information and trip information will only be visible within your account, unless you choose to share the trip on your personal social media channels. All personal address information will be redacted from any shared user generated content.

You retain the right to use the Photos for your own purposes or let others use your Photos for their purposes.
    2. You release and discharge Texas from all and any obligation to pay you for any use of your Photos and any of the intellectual property rights contained therein in connection with the uses described above.
    3. You confirm that you own all rights to your Photos or, alternatively, that you have the authority to give the Texas Economic Development and Tourism Office, the State of Texas and its affiliates the rights described above, at no cost, without infringing the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other legal rights of any third party.
    4. You waive any right to inspect or further approve the use of your photo by the State of Texas in conjunction with the eventual use that it might be applied.
    5. You release, discharge and agree to hold the State of Texas, the Texas Economic Development and Tourism Office, and any person acting on the State of Texas’ behalf harmless from all claims, demands, and liabilities whatsoever in connection with use of the Photos as described above.
    6. This agreement and all disputes arising out of or relating to these usage rights shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to any otherwise applicable conflict of law rules or requirements.
We may refuse to accept, post or transmit the Photos for any reason and we reserve the right to remove the Photos from the Site for any reason and at any time, at our discretion.
